Can I combine more than one study on a single student visa?

Yes it is possible to combine more than one study into a single student visa application. This is referred to as ‘packaged courses’ and is permitted as long as you have confirmed certificate of enrolment for each of the courses that are in the package. For example, you may decide to undertake a Diploma followed by a Bachelor Degree.

Do I need to show funds access for living cost if I am staying with a relative?

How can I bring my partner with me as a student?

If you have a partner at the time of applying for your student visa, one option is to include them in your the student visa application as a member of your family unit. If they do not wish to accompany you when you travel to commence your study, they will need to apply later as a Subsequent Entrant. In wither scenarios, you will need to show access to additional funds associated with your partner’s stay in Australia.

If you were single at the time of commencement of your study and now have a partner and wish to have them join you in Australia, you will need to apply for a new student visa for the remainder of your study period and include your partner in the application.
